Going so far as to deny there was ever one made. He hates it possibly MORE than we do...

I've seen the original films and am old enough to have shuddered with horror when Lucas announced ep 1 was in the making, plus I've seen the "second trilogy" as it was coming out. Machete order seems to be the natural order of the films, plus it makes the replacement of Anakin-ghost with HC at the end of Jedi AWESOME instead of bloody irritating :D

So yes, give it a try, it's well worth it!

Re: Computer Science and Telescopes

I will leave you to read this: http://www.cs.utexas.edu/~EWD/...

Machete Order, as I explain, is a modification of this order, that drops Episode I. Really couldn't have been more clear about that, honestly.

Re: The Star Wars Saga: Introducing Machete Order

Congratulations, you just ripped off Drew McWeeny's recommended order from two years ago. http://in-my-head.org/2011/11/...

Re: The Star Wars Saga: Introducing Machete Order

When watching The Empire Strikes Back for the first time in the 1980's, I did not believe Darth Vader when he said he was Luke Skywalker's father. I thought it was just a trick of Vader to lure Skywalker over to the dark side. Your idea makes the answer come later, which I like.

Earlier in the same movie, I was as surprised as Luke Skywalker was, when I found out that the little annoying creature with pointy ears was the Jedi Master Yoda he was looking for. If seeing the movies in your suggested order, this is another surprise for the viewer which will stick.

Re: The Star Wars Saga: Introducing Machete Order

This is all well and good if Star Wars starts and ends with the movies for you, but the fact is that it doesn't. Star Wars starts 25000 years before episode IV, and ends 170 years after it. And there are a few little bits of lore you screwed up. Maul doesn't die at the end of episode one, Darth Palagus (palpatine's master) is technically Anakin's father, and you spelt Dagobar wrong. Never the less, I do wish I could re-watch all the films in this order without having seen them before.

Re: Why The Complete Bipartite Graph K3,3 Is Not Planar

Thanks, now it's crystal clear! ;)

Re: Blue Sage Realty Sucks: “I’m Rejecting Your Application. Found a great house offered by Blue Sage but I've contacted them three times with no response. Thought I'd do some investigation to see if they were a real company and found what hell our move to COlorado would be if we rented from them. Despite having so much trouble finding a home, I'm still crossing this one off my list! Thanks to everyone who posted. (And if you know any good realtors or rentals in the Wesminster area... let me know!)

Re: The Star Wars Saga: Introducing Machete Order

I was gonna tell you to get off of your goddamn high horse about episode 1, but youre absolutely right. This order makes perfect sense. One of the problems that I have about people complaining about episode 1 is the fact that it is exactly what it was supposed to be, a Star Wars movie for kids. I was 10 when it came out, and I fucking loved it. Because I love Star Wars, and I wanted to see the very beginning of Vader. And it had all of the elements that entertain me. And not only that it had one of the most badass fight scenes in the history of Star Wars in my opinion. that being said, even when I was a kid, the whole midichlorians and trade federation saying confuse the hell out of me, and kind of turned me off to the underlined story. But it still have the elements of a fun movie for me as a 10 year old. But now, as an adult who appreciatesthe original trilogy a helluva lot more, I think this is the best way to tell the entire story. Well done.

Re: The Star Wars Saga: Introducing Machete Order

You sir, changed my life .
I think the whole thing was phoney! A group interview for a "new project" bull****. Unprofessional and I was not impressed with Google or the recruiter. To make a long story short..

It couldn't have been easier to find the location, but they had us waiting for a half hour for 1 interviewee. Googler to interview us said to recruiter "Maybe he got lost, it can be hard to find"

I was early along with everyone else - i google mapped it a day before .duh

All 7 of us were told by recruiters prior to interview:
1) It was for a Customer service/ sales position in a new Google store & given a detailed job description.
2) We were given many pages of questions to prepare to answer - tons of preparation
3) Told to bring several copies of our resumes.

Interview @ Google: 3 girls from google on their laptops, hardly made eye contact when we spoke- wow another strike
1) The job position will have customer interaction at all and no sales. EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. Why would they waste their time and ours. Nothing they said we would do in this position made any sense at all!

2) They asked each of us individually - just ONE question. I always prepare but I went above and beyond for that!!

3) We asked the googlers at the end of the interview, if they would like the copies of our resumes (as we had been asked to bring) .... they replied "No, we try to save paper" WTF!! I used my good resume paper which I use sparingly ( it's not cheap). Why would they have us waste paper?

The googlers could not provide us with a straight answer regarding the position. The job itself did not make sense, the googlers seemed like morons. The questions they asked us as a group sounded like they needed HELP with figuring out how to make this IDEA someone had- come to LIFE. We all seemed confused. Anyway, I don't think the miscommunication was professional at all!

I am NOT happy with Google or Adecco for the lies, and games they play . It was a horrible experience and I have nothing positive to say about either company anymore.
